Overview
The Admore AB302 is a 1-gang 2-way light switch from the Metal Series: Black Nickel range. Single rocker on a square 1-gang faceplate, finished in gloss black with a screwless flat plate and matching black switch insert. “2-way” means it can be wired as either a one-way switch or as part of a two-way circuit (so a single light can be controlled from two locations such as the top and bottom of a staircase).
Construction
The faceplate is pressed stainless steel with an electroplated gloss-black finish. The screwless design hides the fixing screws beneath the plate for a clean architectural look. Internally the switch uses copper pillar terminals with captive screws — captive screws stay attached to the terminal as you wire, which speeds installation and prevents lost hardware behind the back-box. The earth terminal is captive and clearly marked.
Switch action
Single black rocker actuates a 2-way mechanism rated at 10 A, 220–240 V AC. No neon or LED indicator on the rocker. The unit can be wired as either a one-way (single-location) or two-way (multi-location) switch depending on your circuit layout.
Installation
The AB302 mounts flush into a standard 1-gang UK BS 4662 metal or plastic back-box with the conventional 60.3 mm fixing centres. Minimum back-box depth is 25 mm.
