Description
Description
Overview
The Admore AKHF is a universal activated-carbon filter cartridge sized for a 6-inch (150mm) filter slot — the standard format used by most cooker hoods and inline ducted carbon scrubbers. It absorbs cooking odors, smoke residue and ambient odor molecules from air passing through it during ductless recirculation, restoring the filter stage of any compatible ventilation unit.
Construction & Materials
Activated carbon media packed inside a cartridge frame sized to drop into a standard 6-inch (150mm) filter housing. Universal physical format — not keyed to a single product, so it works as a direct replacement across multiple Admore models and as a generic 6-inch replacement in other systems.
Applications
Designed as a replacement consumable for any 6-inch carbon filter slot, including: Admore A-KH series cooker hoods (A-KH60W, A-KH90W, A-KH60B, A-KH90B, A-KH60S, A-KH90S) running in ductless mode; the Admore A-ID6 6-inch inline duct fan when paired with a 6-inch carbon scrubber housing; and third-party 6-inch ductless ventilation systems in apartments, serviced units, and rented accommodation where outside ducting isn’t available.
Installation Notes
Power down the host unit at the wall before opening the filter compartment. Remove the spent cartridge and any aluminum grease-mesh filters in front of it. Drop the AKHF into the filter bay so the carbon media faces the airflow direction, then reseat the mesh filters and close the compartment.
